Meet Dr. Jonathan Lau, one of our team members for Western kNOw-PAIN. Dr. Lau is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery here at Western. He is a neurosurgeon with a focus on minimally invasive and hybrid surgical approaches for personalized treatment of disorders of the nervous system, including chronic post-stroke pain and orofacial pain. His research leverages advanced imaging techniques including ultra-high field MRI, and he develops methods and tools to improve the accuracy of neurosurgical procedures. Some of Dr. Lau’s medical interests include Epilepsy Surgery, Neuromodulation, and Neuro-Oncology to name a few.
