Meet Dr. Jibran Khokhar, one of our researchers for Western kNOw-PAIN. He is an associate professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology here at Western. His research involves understanding the mechanisms underlying mental illnesses and substance use disorders, using a variety of behavioural, pharmacological and translational neuroimaging techniques. His work uses animal models of neuropsychiatric, addictive and pain-related conditions with pre-clinical neuroimaging, electrophysiology, and pharmacology.
