Meet Dr. Emma Duerden, one of our team members for Western kNOw-PAIN. She is an assistant professor in Applied Psychology in the Faculty of Education at Western and a Canada Research Chair in Neuroscience and Learning Disorders. Her research involves pain and early life stress in infants born critically ill and children with neurodevelopmental disorders using brain imaging technologies and developmental assessments. She has been honoured with several local, provincial and national awards for her research.
