Meet Dr. David Seminowicz, one of our co-leads for Western kNOw-PAIN. He is a professor in the Department of Medical Biophysics and researcher at Robarts Research Institute here at Western University, and he has been involved in pain research for over 2 decades. Dr. Seminowicz has been involved in pain centers at the University of Toronto, McGill University, the University of Maryland Baltimore (executive committee), and Neuroscience Research Australia (co-director). His work focuses on the brain mechanisms of acute and chronic pain using neuroimaging techniques, such as functional MRI and EEG.
